ABOUT GCRRA
Grand Canyon River Runners Association was created in large part because its founding members came to realize that some individuals and organizations were advocating the reduction or even elimination of reasonable public access to the Colorado River within the Grand Canyon for those who depend on the National Park Service’s licensed river concessioners.

GCRRA works to:

Preserve the public's current river access allotment;

Protect the public's right to choose an environmentally responsible motorized or non-motorized river trip;

Preserve the current diversity of trip options, including trip length and group size;

Serve as a source of reference materials and information related to river running issues;

Coordinate the voice and participation of the general public in Grand Canyon River planning processes;

Provide a community forum for river runners.

We donate up to twenty percent of all GCRRA membership fees to organizations that support conservation activities along the river, or which provide visitation opportunities for special populations.
